Along with a new year comes shortly thereafter another St. Valentine's Day or as I like to call it Singles Awareness Day. If you are like me you always, somehow, end up being single around this time of year. Christmas doesn't matter, NYE eh I can live it up with great friends, but Valentine's Day is just a reminder that you are not able to share your love and experiences with a significant other. Now don't get me wrong....I'm all about being single and not being held down by one person, but occasionally it would be nice to have someone to go home to, to cook dinner for, etc (you know all that sappy stuff). Mark my words, by lunch time all the ladies in the office will have flowers, chocolates, and cards delivered to them by their husbands/beaus ... not to mention four of the people that I work with are married to each other...SHOOT ME NOW!
I'm thinking next year I'm going to host a party with a catchy tag line and in bold, ALL CAPS, & italicized "SINGLES ONLY!"
